Hi, I'm Boum and I draw sometimes. I'm a freelance filmmaker, animator, illustrator and comic artist (I know, I gotta make up my mind, right?). I enjoy the company of rabbits, snowy days, cheese, retro video games, and sporting weird hairdos.

This sketchblog will be where I dump whatever doesn't fit elsewhere — doodles, fanart, nonsensical nonsense.

BOUMDRAWS.

The fourth episode of Burquette. I did all the backgrounds and the colours, and some slight animation corrections here and there.

Storywise, for the non-French speakers who are curious: Alberte goes to school wearing her burqa, and she complains that all the teens around her react the same way they did the day before, at the party she attended. Her friends state that she looks much fatter with that thing on.

Once in class, she says she won’t wear the burqa, but it turns out her father’s there too. He says she’ll thank him someday, to which she replies: “Thank you for destroying my popularity?! Never!” She then learns that her father has convinced little Germain to tattle-tale if she doesn’t wear it. Germain says Alberte’s dad promised him a new Xbox in exchange.
