Hi, I'm Boum and I draw sometimes. I'm a freelance filmmaker, animator, illustrator and comic artist (I know, I gotta make up my mind, right?). I enjoy the company of rabbits, snowy days, cheese, retro video games, and sporting weird hairdos.

This sketchblog will be where I dump whatever doesn't fit elsewhere — doodles, fanart, nonsensical nonsense.

BOUMDRAWS.
Back from Wizard World Toronto Comic Con! I had a great time, especially that I hung out with friends all weekend long! I can’t say that the con was a complete success for me though, as the crowd seemed really American comics oriented (read: Batman), and since I had none of that, I didn’t do well, especially on the second day. I was drawing portraits and drew quite a few on day 1 (about forty), enough at a time to have people lining up at my booth (it was awesome), but on day 2 I only drew about five people and sold just about nothing. Strange thing.
However, I got to meet awesome folks, even a few who’d actually read Boumeries before, and overall it was a great experience. But I got told by numerous people there how I’d fit better in the TCAF crowd (not that I don’t want to — here’s to hoping they’ll still have a spot for me), so I probably won’t attend WWTCC again and focus on less selective crowds.
But thanks, Toronto! You’re still awesome in my heart.
